Zee TV Telugu USP: Dance Show Contestants Smooching On Stage!

Zee TV Telugu's dance reality show Super Jodi, which mostly caters to family audiences, shocked everyone when one of the contest pairs - Pallavi and Gokul kissed on stage, making Lakshmi Manchu drop her jaw.

The dance show on Zee TV has real life couple pairing up to contest with each other. One such contestant pair is husband and wife Pallavi and Gokul. Pallavi, who is a television actress has acted in family based show like Pasupu Kunkuma. Now, the stint could be to get a few second of fame, but the television channel could have edited it to keep their show clean. Instead of this, they have actually kept the lip lock scene in the show and have chose to show it in a failed funny way.

The scene has received very disappointed response. One such response from an audience say, "I was watching a dance show - Super Jodi in Zee Telugu on Saturday (10th Aug, 2013) with family and kids at home. Pallavi and Gokul even though they are couple in real life, they love each other, Zee Telugu should not be casting kissing scenes on TV when the show is termed as Family show. Please ensure that such scenes be eliminated from family shows."

Any sort of public display of affection is dealt with maximum care on television and especially in any regional languages, where the audiences are much more conservative and traditional when compared to any other modern, youth based channels.

Either this is a publicity stunt by the channel or the actors could be trying for some minutes of attention, but the whole ordeal has definitely left the Telugu television audience with a bitter taste.
