Humsafar Actress Mahira Bags Shahrukh Khan Film!

Humsafar, the Pakistani show's actress Mahira Khan has bagged a Bollywood film opposite King Khan, Shahrukh Khan. After Fawad Khan, Mahira will be debuting in Bollywood.

Fawad debuted in Bollywood this year with Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat and now his co-star from Humsafar, Mahira will be entering Bollywood next. When the actress was in India recently, she was seen hinting about her wish to act in some of the film makers here.

"Producer Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar met her soon after that. And it seems the duo was mighty impressed by the VJ-turned-actress and they roped her in for Rahul Dholakia‘s Raees," reported a leading website recently.

The Humsafar actress was highly praised for her portrayal of Khirad Hussain in the popular show. The show was aire din Zindagi channel recently and received immense appreciation for their acting.

Reportedly, Mahira auditioned for this role and impressed the makers of the film and this is also when she met SRK. It is also said that Shahrukh will be playing a don in the movie and Mahira has been roped in to play his ladylove. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is reported to be playing the cop in the film.
