Comedy Nights With Kapil's Mrs Bittu, Sumona Chakravarthi, is very often addressed as Kapil's wife in real life. This she says is embarrassing at occasions when she is out as herself and not her character.

The "bade hoth wali" who is a household name with the success of her stint as Mr Bittu's wife on the comedy show, is often asked questions about her "husband" Kapil's whereabouts.

Sumona apparently gets bombarded with questions related to her to on-screen husband and the beautiful actress is not comfortable when it happens when she is not in her character. For instance when she is out with her friends, she is questioned about Kapil's whereabouts. She says she always replies curtly, "How will I know where Kapil is?"
