Confirmed: Saras (Gautam Rode) To Die In Saraswatichandra!

    There have been rumours making rounds saying Gautam Rode will be quitting the show Saraswatichandra. But the reality is that Gautam Rode is roped in to act in another show from the same production and so they have decided to kill his character Saras on the show.

    "Gautam's track in Saraswatichandra was about to end due to which the network offered him another show. He will first complete shooting for Saraswatichandra and only then will he start shooting for his new show. It was a creative call taken by the production house and channel to end Gautam's track," Times Of India quoted a source regarding the show.

    Gautam and Jennifer Winget starring show Saraswatichandra, which started in February, 2014, has been facing a number of issues right from the beginning of the show, including the change in production house, to difficulties in maintaining ratings, the show has seen it all. Now following a new story line, the makers have decided to end the male protagonists role, Saras.

    Saras is married to Kumud in the show, played by Jennifer Winget. Off late, there had been rumours about Jennifer too quitting the show, but there hasn't been any official confirmation regarding this.
