Don't Know If Saraswatichandra's Going Off Air: Gautam Rode

Gautam Rode, the lead actor in Saraswatichandra has tweeted saying he does not know anything about the show going off air as of now and that he will keep his fans posted about this.

Gautam, who plays the lead role on the show, Saras, tweeted saying he has not heard anything regarding Saraswatichandra going off air. Recently, reports were out saying the channel is in talks about taking the show off. The show that was launched in February 2013 has been a hot favourite among a lot of audience especially among Indians outside India.

Saraswatichandra's lead actors, Gautam Rode and Jennifer Winget are in news off late with their offshore shooting for the show in London. Meanwhile news broke out about the channel in talks to take the show off air in June.

A leading website quoted a source associated with the show saying, "Yes, it is Saraswatichandra on the radar next. The show is tipped to end in June. But it might get an extension if the new show lined up to replace it takes time to hit the tube. Another reason is that the channel doesn't have slots vacant for new shows and hence, they are forced to axe a few."
