Gautam Rode, Shrenu Parikh, Karan Mehra...'Do The Namaste' For Star Parivaar Awards 2014! (Pics)

Star Plus recently launched the anthem 'Do The Namaste' of it's pride, Star Parivaar Awards 2014. The song has been getting a lot of publicity off late, starting with the celebs of Star TV, like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2's Shrenu Parikh, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Karan Mehra, Saath Nibhana Saathiya's Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Saraswaticandra's Gautam Rode and others like Gurmeet Choudhry, travelling from one city to another through their interactive campaign, 'Aapka Star, Aapke Shehar'.

The channel has come up with an innovative idea to launch 'Do The Namaste' as a youth anthem, extending Star's reach beyond the homemakers. Popular Bollywood playback singer Akriti Kakkar of the recent 'Iski Uski' song fame from movie 2 States and Arko Mukherjee have lent their voices to the Star Parivaar Awards 2014 anthem. The two singers had earlier crooned 'Abhi Abhi' from Jism 2 together, and this is their next collaboration since the film.

The promos of the catchy song feature the various celebs of Star serials, like Shrenu Parikh, Devoleena Bhattachrajee, Gautam Rode and Karan Mehra dancing with fans across various cities of India, with the crowds going crazy for their favourite stars, holding placards in support of each of them. The song has indeed, gone viral in a short span of time, and is the one tune everyone seems to be humming these days.

Meanwhile, Hina Khan aka Akshara of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Digangana Suryavanshi aka Veera Of Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera, have been promoting this year's edition of Star Parivaar Awards with grandeur.

Star has also been airing highlights, from Star Parivaar Awards over the years since about a week now, gearing the fans up for a royal 12th edition of the awards function this year. Star Parivaar Awards 2014 will be aired on June 29, Sunday, at 7:30pm on Star Plus.
