Gunjan Utreja To Take Vivian Dsena's Place Next To Drashti Dhami In Madhubala!

Colors TV has now announced officially that the actor Gunjan Utreja will be playing the main lead in their show Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon opposite the show's favourite actress and Madhubala, Drashti Dhami.

Gunjan recently expressed his happiness over being a part of the popular show, but also expressed his apprehension of being compared to the previous lead actor and the famous RK, Vivian Dsena. He recently said, "Comparisons with Vivian are inevitable because RK was a character people recognised the show with. But I am not here to compete with him. And I am not RK's replacement. I am ­walking into the show as an entirely new ­character, Abhay Kapoor... AK, the superstar, who will be seen romancing Madhubala, RK's ­daughter."

The 29-year-old talking about how he got this opportunity said, "Just two weeks back, I suddenly got a call, and after some look tests I was in!"

There were many names making rounds as either being approached or being finalised to play the role of AK on the show. The names included Karanvir Bohra, Shaleen Malhotra and even Karan Singh Grover. But the luck was at Gunjan's side and so he bagged the role.

So let's wait and watch how the magic works for this pair, and whether or not the chemistry that sizzled the screen between RK and Madhubala will replicate again with AK and Madhubala again.
