Kapil
Sharma's
Comedy
Nights
With
Kapil
works
magic
on
TV
while
Sunil
Grover's
Mad
In
India
failed
to
do
the
same.
There
is
no
doubting
Sunil's
talent
at
comedy
but
who
is
to
be
blamed
for
the
failure
of
his
show?
Mad
In
India,
the
Sunil
Grover's
comedy
show
was
launched
by
Star
Plus
as
a
reply
to
Colors'
Comedy
Nights
With
Kapil.
Though
they
repeatedly
said
that
don't
see
it
that
way,
their
intention
was
pretty
obvious.
Kapil
Sharma's
Comedy
Nights
With
Kapil,
as
we
know
has
been
the
hot
favourite
even
after
the
numerous
obstacles
the
show
had
to
face,
like
the
fire
accident,
Gutthi
aka
Sunil
Gorver's
exit
from
the
show,
the
failed
attempts
at
replacing
Gitthi
and
what
not.
But
the
show
emerged
stronger
eventually.
When
we
consider
the
reasons
why
Kapil's
show
worked
when
Sunil's
did
not.
The
first
reason
that
can
be
attributed
to
this
is
the
lack
of
creativity.
Even
from
the
first
episode
Mad
In
India
looked
a
lot
like
an
exaggerated
version
of
Comedy
Nights
With
Kapil.

Became
So
Famous!
Though
they
elaborated
each
concept
in
Kapil's
show
to
a
painful
extent,
the
lack
of
authenticity
was
what
failed
them
in
the
end.
Be
it
Manish
Paul
playing
host
for
the
celebrity
guests,
the
concept
of
a
colony
and
the
most
important
rip
off
from
Comedy
Nights'
-
Gutthi.
Though
they
named
her
Chutki,
the
magic
she
(Sunil)
had
on
Kapil's
show
could
not
be
replicated
on
his
own
show.

aspects
in
Mad
In

that
did
not
connect
with
the

be

the
jokes,
the

The
expectations
on
the

were
pretty

the
