Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2, 16th April written episode: Niranjan wants to formally welcome Astha in the family, as he thinks that she has become a perfect daughter-in-law. Anjali promises to make the arrangements. When she approaches Shlok, he becomes arrogant outright. She fails to prevent her insult, by reminding him her position and status. Shlok tells Anjali that he should have expelled her from the family, if he were in place of Niranjan. He says that he will avoid meeting her.

Astha starts her effort of bringing a fresh breeze in Shlok’s life. She sees care and concern in his eyes, when she falls with a tray of tea. She consults Varad about rearranging the study of Shlok. Varad apprehends a disaster, but Astha is determined to put the effort and ready to face any consequence.

When Shlok sees his study in a new order, Astha becomes ready to face his ruthless anger. But to her utter surprise, he thanks her. She gets the energy and spirit of continuing her effort, to become friends with Shlok and to make him feel the lovely essence of human emotions.

Varad thinks it is enough that Shlok has said thanks. Astha wants to make Shlok smile. Varad gives her a challenge to make him smile within twenty four hours. She accepts the challenge.

Astha presents a dish of poha for Shlok, with the shape of a smiley. She gives some funny toys in his hand, to make him laugh. All her attempts go in vain. She promises to continue her efforts.
