Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2, 26th April written episode: Astha calls Sojal and comes to know that she has got stuck in the traffic. Astha keeps praying that she comes back soon. Anjali hears Astha’s conversation and comes to know the truth. The guests arrive and the puja starts soon. Kaindi and Ajju attend the function.

Niranjan asks Anjali about Sojal and comes to know that she has gone to see her mother. He calls Anjali in private. The priest tells Astha to bring her wedding jora. When Astha is coming through the corridor, she hears a sound and feels that something is wrong. She follows the source of it and comes in front of the room of Niranjan and Anjali.

Through the gap in the door, Astha sees what she could never imagine. She sees Anjali being beaten up by Niranjan, for failing to keep Sojal at house. Astha cannot relate this face of Niranjan with the kind and affectionate man she has seen forever.

Niranjan beats up Anjali and before leaving the room, orders him to be present in the function with a smiling face. After he leaves, Anjali struggles to wipe off signs of tears and put on make up to cover the recent abuse. Astha watches her misery.

When Astha comes down the stairs, she understands that Anjali’s rudeness is actually shaped by Niranjan, to control the family. She relates the incidents where she saw Anjali to bear pains. She understands that everything was caused by Niranjan, the well polished brute.

Astha staggers and stumbles, out of utter shock. Shlok, Anjali and Ajju become worried for her. When she sees the smiling face of Niranjan, she feels a chill down her spine !
