Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2, 27th February written episode: Before leaving the Agnihotri house, Aditi becomes ill and the doctor suggests complete rest and no travel for her. Her father wants to cancel his conference in Dubai, when Niranjan insists that he should join the conference, leaving Aditi to the care of the Agnihotri family. Anjali also ensures him that Aditi will be completely fine in the Agnihotri house.

Jyoti thinks that she should not reveal the possibility of pregnancy to Abhay or his mother; she fears that they can destroy the embryo if it is a female one. Being a mother, Jyoti becomes very careful about the life of her child. She lies to her mother-in-law; she says that she cannot do the Puja or touch the God, for five days.

Jyoti also feels that she should check her pregnancy status by a test kit, but she has no money to buy it. She thinks of stealing money from the God’s plate. Her mother-in-law catches her touching the God’s plate and she shouts at her. When Jyoti opens her wardrobe, she finds the gift pack received from her parents, on the occasion of Shiv Ratri. She thinks that she should seek help from Astha, to convince her parents, so that they can allow her to stay with them. She discovers money, inside the gift pack.

Aditi and Astha become friends to each other. Aditi asks Astha about her relationship with Shlok. Astha tells her that it was a love relationship that started from a confrontation. At night, Shlok sees the silhouette of a salwar-kamiz clad woman walking inside the house; again he confuses the woman with Swati.
