Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2, 28th May written episode: Sid comes to Astha's place to talk with Ajju regarding Jyoti. Kalindi hears his words that he immensely loves Jyoti and cannot live without her. Sid becomes scared when he sees Kalindi, but she just smiles and says that she is happy for them. She tells him to keep patience and she will start discussion about this relationship at the right moment.

Renuka on the other hand is troubled with the idea that her son is a gay. She comes to Ajju and shares her worries; but before Ajju can counsel her, she leaves in a hurry. The boy with whom she saw with Sid, comes to invite them to his wedding. She behaves weirdly.

And in the Agnihotri house, Astha discovers a new way of torturing the monster. She discovers a vegetable that causes throat irritation. She boils the veggie and adds the water to a dish of potato, which is Niranjan's favourite.

Niranjan becomes mad with throat irritation when he eats the potato. Shlok and Varad guess that he is having allergy from potato. Anjali doubts Astha for the mishap, but gets no proof against her. Astha pretends being innocent.

Shlok misses Astha at office. He tells her to join office from the next day and goes to Niranjan with the proposal. Niranjan says that Astha has duties at home; if she can manage time, she can attend office.

Astha eavesdrops the conversation and understands that Niranjan is not at all willing to let her attend office. She is very true in her assumption, as Niranjan comes to Anjali and tells her to engage Astha in domestic duties, so that she cannot manage time for office.

Astha was not much willing to join office; but once she guesses Niranjan's intention, she becomes determined to do it, only because Niranjan opposes. Will Astha be able to overcome the obstacles? How will she continue troubling Niranjan, by destroying his liking for potato?
