Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7: Madhubala Drashti Dhami To Co-host?
Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon actress and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6 winner Drashti Dhami is most likely to be Ranvir Shorey's co-host on the upcoming dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7. The actress will be playing the role of an anchor for the first time.
Drashti Dhami's victory in the previous edition of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa has made her hugely in demand. She was already enjoying star status and popularity with superhit TV serial Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, in which she is essaying the role of protagonist Madhubala/ Rani. The Jhalak episode has opened new doors and opportunities for her.
Earlier reports suggested comedian and former Jhalak contestant Bharti Singh's name as Ranvir Shorey's co-host, but with a little more than a month left in the launch of JDJ 7, newer names are getting added to the list.
What lies for us to see is whether the jodi of Ranvir Shorey and Drashti Dhami will be able to create the same magic that the Kapil Sharma-Manish Paul duo did. The two, as hosts of JDJ 6, left the judges and audiences in splits with their incredible comic timing. The hosts of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 5, Manish Paul and Season 4 winner Ragini Khanna were also very popular with the audience. Since Drashti is following the footsteps of Ragini, who hosted the next season after winning the previous, comparisons will be inevitable. Only time will tell how good a host Drashti will make, but we can definitely be assured of some good entertainment this season.

Drashti was one of the few contestants in the season to consistently perform on the show. She became known for getting 30 out of a maximum score of 30 with every performance of hers, giving co-contestant Lauren Gottlieb tough competition.

On the show, Drashti proved her mettle in every dance style possible-Semi Classical, Afro, Flamenco, Contemporary, Aerial, Bollywood, Bollywood Item Songs, Waltz and many more.
The Madhuri Act
Drashti did an imitaion of judge Madhuri Dixit in her blockbuster hit Humko Aaj Kal Hai and was widely praised. Some even claimed that she was better than Madhuri and the guests suggested that Bollywood is waiting for her entry.
Laughter
Drashti hilarious and boisterous laughter spells became her trademark on the show. The hosts Kapil Sharma and Manish Paul, given a chance, used to tease Drashti about her crazy and unique style of laughing.
BFFs
Everyone knows of the inseparable bond between actress Sanaya Irani and Drashti Dhami. Sanaya took time off from her shooting schedule to support Drashti during one of the episodes. Sanaya Irani, whose performance in one episode of Jhalak was appreciated, was expected to make it on the Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7 list.
Manish Paul
Having hosted JDJ 5 and 6, Manish sadly could not make time for Jhalak Season 7 due to his movie shooting schedule.
Manish's Antics
The stage will miss Manish Paul's crazy antics that ranged from flirting with the guests to holding Madhuri Dixit's pallu. Manish had one said, 'I will not leave hosting. For all the fun and for holding that pallu.'
