Jodha Akbar: Maha Manga Knows Jodha Lied!

Jodha Akbar 17th September written episode: Maham is informed by the doctor that she is to be shifted to Delhi very soon. She refuses to leave Agra. Akbar calls Todarmal and gives instruction to shift Maha Manga as soon as possible. He is scared of taking any more risk with his children.

Resham Khan meets Jodha when Salima is present in her room. She believes that Jodha can still change the situation as Maham is not willing to leave Agra. Jodha says that she is helpless. Resham gives the example of Khaiber and Zakira, who were saved by Jodha.

After Resham leaves, Salima insists on going to Hamida for this issue. Hamida refuses to oppose Akbar’s decision. She argues that Akbar is extremely hurt by Maham’s crimes. Rukaiya supports her. Jodha argues that Maha Manga has brought up and protected Akbar and served the Mughal Empire for long years.

Jodha’s words inspire Hamida to meet Maha Manga. She goes to the prison. Maha Manga says that she does not want to go to Delhi. Hamida tells her to touch the Zakat, the items to be distributed among the poor in the rituals for the peace of Adham’s soul.

Maha Manga requests Hamida to take care of Jawida and her child. Hamida becomes surprised and says that she has no hint of it! Maham understands that Jodha has lied to her. She thinks Jodha has avenged her curse. As she cursed Jodha’s child, Jodha in return made her dream for Adham’s child, only to shatter the dream. She cries helplessly.

When Hamida questions Jodha, the latter explains that she told the lie of Jawida’s pregnancy to save Maham’s life. Jodha meets Akbar and asks for his permission to meet Maha Manga for the last time. He permits. Rukaiya stops Jodha when she is heading towards the prison.
