Jodha Akbar 4th July written episode: Akbar reminds Jodha that they heard a sound from a wall, when they were travelling though a secret path in the prison, at the night of their marriage anniversary. He guesses that Chand Begum was kept there.
Maham takes Chand Begum to another secret chamber. Adam Khan asks his mother how many secret chambers she knows actually! He becomes more surprised when he comes to know that this chamber is just beside Maham's room in the palace!
At Dewan-E-Khas Akbar is informed that Punjab has been attacked. He receives the formal notice of war from Nigar. He comes to know that Abul Mali has joined her. He says that he will reply to the notice later.
Akbar gets the news that Nigar's troop has attacked Agra. Akbar, Akbar, Todarmal and Atgah fight with the soldiers. Atgah tells Akbar that time has come to get prepared for war. Akbar tells him that he cannot take weapon against his own sister.
Todarmal tells Atgah that the Emperor is being emotional, but being his officers, they have to make foolproof preparations of war. Todarmal, Atgah, Munim Khan and Mirza Hakim discuss the planning of war.
A messenger informs that the attack is actually from Kabul, planned by Begum Maha Chuchak. Mirza Hakim feels extremely upset for being the son of Maha Chuchak.
Jodha tells Akbar that he cannot avoid war any more, as Nigar has already declared it. If he remains inactive, the existence of the state will be at stake and the common mass will suffer. Akbar pays no heed to Jodha.
Jodha comes to Rukaiya and explains the matter to her. She thinks that Rukaiya can counsel Akbar, being his best friend.
Rukaiya apparently ignores Jodha, but she calls Akbar to play human-chess.
Rukaiya motivates Akbar for the war. She tells him that he is an Emperor at first and then a brother.
