Jodha Akbar 31st January written Episode: Maha Manga is worried as Benazir’s mehendi has been marred by Jodha. Rukaiya declares that the function will start anew. Benazir gets a fresh touch of mehendi on her hands. Jodha gifts Benazir a picture of Sri Krishna, standing on the head of Kaliay Nag. She tells the story Kaliya Daman by Sri Krishna—how Lord Sri Krishna overpowered a highly poisonous serpent and saved people’s lives.

Akbar tells Hamida Begum that he has so many faithful attendants. So many people obey him, follow him and pray for his long life, but still he feels so lonely. Hamida says that the person who sits on the throne, becomes alone, as no one can be equal to him in status.

This solitude will only go, when Akbar will get his soul-mate—who will love him because he is her husband, not because he is the Emperor. She will love Akbar, the person, not the Emperor.

As usual Akbar repeats that he has no heart, so there is no question of getting a soul-mate. His mother says that there will be someone who will find out his heart and will make him feel the essence of love.

Abul Mali is tortured inside the prison, to make him utter the names of his confidants inside the palace. Sharifuddin is informed that Abul Mali has his informer inside the prison, in the disguise of Mughal soldier. Sharifuddin informs Jodha that Benazir is planning to murder Akbar before the marriage. She will be the Begum, not of Akbar, but of Abul Mali.
