Kapil Sharma To Debut In Daily Soaps With Sasural Simar Ka! (Pics)

It is revealed! The special guest to appear on Sasural Simar Ka to judge the Bahu No.1 competition is none other than producer and host of Comedy Nights With Kapil- Kapil Sharma. Yes, Kapil will be making his debut in a daily soap with this cameo, where we will see him judging and announcing the winner of Bahu No.1.

Kapil had tweeted earlier today, "First time going to shoot for a daily soap.. Sasural simar ka.. A special episode... Hope u will like it..." Kapil had poked fun at the drama queens of the small screen in a segment of his show, Comedy Nights With Kapil (Alok Nath episode). So what does Kapil truly feel about daily soaps?

"I am fond of all the bahus of this show. This ongoing competition track is very interesting. I appreciate the way, people in daily soaps work. Their hard work is tremendous. Whoever wins this competition, but my experience here was great." said Kapil, when asked about his daily soap debut.

Sasural Simar Ka's plot is currently about Roli and Simar contesting in the Bharadwaj family's competition, Bahu No.1. Of the six round that will be held, Kapil will be judging the final round. "Kapil will be shooting today and the episode should air in couple of days' time. Everyone is excited to meet and shoot with him," said a source from the sets.

"I could not stop laughing. He is a great person. In every shot, me and Simar had to make our self realize that we cannot laugh, just have to make sad faces", says a thrilled Avika Gor, who plays Roli. Sasural Simar Ka's Simar aka Deepika Samson too was quite starstruck. "I cannot believe that Kapil Sharma is on our set and shooting with us. I am too happy. He is a great man,''she quipped.
