Qubool Hai: Karanvir Bohra Playing Lead Role Post Leap!

After Qubool Hai's 20 year leap, it is now confirmed that Karanvir Bohra will be playing the male protagonist against Surbhi Jyoti. Karanvir was also offered Madhubala - Ek Ish Ek Junoon, but the Khatron Ke Khiladi contestant declined the show to accept Qubool Hai.

Karanvir, who was seen contesting in Colors TV's Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and in the current season of Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi, is excited to take up the responsibilities that comes along with a show like Qubool Hai.

Qubool Hai, which will be taking a short leap of 2 years, will show Asad and Zoya having a girl child and after which they will be killed by Tanveer (Amrapali Gupta) apparently. Followed by which the show will take a 20 year leap, which will have the story of Asad and Zoya's daughter, who will again be played by Surbhi Jyoti.

This is where Karanvir enters. He will play the lead role against Asad and Zoya's daughter. Thus getting to play a new role entirely. Karanvir said, "I accepted this role, because I will be playing a brand new character. Also, I have not played a Muslim so far."

Qubool Hai has been going through tough time off late with actors quitting, bad storyline and actors refusing to play roles and so on. Now that the show has decided to start a fresh with a new story and cast (except Surbhi of course), let's hope the show gets back to the peak ratings that the show has seen when Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti played Asad and Zoya.
