Feared most of the water, Daya struggled with every stunt which involved it. But the final stunt that sent him home had nothing to do with water. Daya had to compete with Rajneesh Duggal at a stunt most loved by the host of the show Rohit Shetty. Car based action stunt, which included the two contestants driving themselves out of a moving truck and reach Rohit by cycling the distance separating them.

Daya's most strongest advantage his size and strength failed him in both his elimination stunts. The first one being the 'Horsepower' stunt in which he had to stand on a platform that gets dragged by two horses while he attempts to grab as many rings suspended as possible using a pole. Daya failed to balance himself on the platform and fell off it very soon.

Daya and Rajneesh entered the final elimination round and lost failing to reach Rohit faster than the later. Thus ended Daya's Khatron Ke Khiladi journey.

Daya received an emotional farewell from his co-contestants, some of whom even shed tears after he left. Rohit too expressed the respect he has for Daya. Rohit and Daya were apparently friends for 22 years and the fact was never mentioned by him throughout the show, nor did he try to take any advantage of the old friendship, confessed Rohit.
