Drashti
Dhami's
identity
has
already
become
more
of
Madhubala,
than
her
off-screen
self.
This
week,
Drashti's
well-known
image
will
be
given
a
very
unusual
twist.
The
Madhubala
actress
will
be
donning
the
hat
of
a
nimbu-mirchi
seller
in
Mumbai
for
Colors
TV's
charity-based
reality
show
Mission
Sapne.
The
gorgeous
actress
will
feature
on
the
show
for
a
noble
cause,
to
help
one
visually
challenged
Kusum
Dhamne
earn
her
bread
by
toiling
in
the
hot
sun
at
Mumbai's
Oberoi
Mall
signal.
Drashti
will
be
seen
turning
on
the
heat,
quite
literally,
by
selling
chillies.
Drashti
Dhami
made
the
most
glamourous
and
charming
nimbu-mirchi
seller,
as
she
glowed
in
her
beautiful
white
and
pink
salwar.
It
looked
like
Drashti,
of
all,
was
in
need
of
some
nimbus
and
mirchis
to
ward
off
evil
eyes
from
her.
She
made
efforts
to
go
that
extra
step
to
ensure
that
she
did
justice
to
Kusum.
Drashti
was
seen
standing
on
stools
and
excitedly
tying
the
nimbu-mirchis
to
door
frames
of
shops,
and
even
to
cars,
bikes
and
autos.
Drashti's
penchant
for
learning
new
things
came
across
strongly
as
she
learnt
from
Kusum,
how
to
join
the
nimbu-mirchis
through
a
thread,
with
thrill.
She
came
across
Nigaar
Khan,
sister
of
Gauhar
Khan,
in
her
car
at
the
traffic
signal
and
was
excited
about
Nigaar
seeing
her
in
the
new
role.
Sonali
Bendre,
host
of
Mission
Sapne,
had
described
Drashti's
extraordinary
dedication
and
enthusiasm
in
the
task
at
hand,
saying
"She
was
a
poor
thing
as
she
had
to
be
in
the
sun
to
do
her
job
at
the
traffic
signal.
We
thought
she
would
faint
as
she
seemed
so
fragile."
She
went
on
to
gush
about
the
actress'
contribution
toward
the
cause.
"She
turned
out
to
be
a
tough
girl.
She
did
it
and
raised
money
with
a
smile
on
her
face
without
cribbing
even
once," said
an
impressed
Sonali.
