Mouni Roy Dedicates Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 Performances To Her Father!

TV actress Mouni Roy has dedicated her upcoming act on 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7' to her father, whom she lost last year. Mouni, who is teamed with choreographer Punit, turned everyone emotional on the set with her performance on 'Jee Le Zara'.

"My last conversation with my father was an argument we'd had. When I came to know of his hospitalisation, I'd lost him within seven hours. I still regret the last conversation with him," Mouni said in a statement. Judges Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D'Souza were also moved by her act.

Madhuri, who lost her father during the semi-final of Jhalak's last season, said, "I completely understand what you mean. I too lost my father last year." Johar also remembered his late father and said, "We never thought 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' would be my father's last film. In fact, when the title track of the film was made, his father said –this song is only for me. Who knew the song would really be for him."

With the competition drilled down to the final seven, Ashish Sharma, Sophie Choudhary, Akshat Singh, Mouni Roy, Tara Popowich, Karan Tacker and Shakti Mohan, the show has upped the suspense quotient of who would win the title. Let's wait and watch who will.
