Nach Baliye 6: Rithvik-Asha Emerge As Winners; Beat Gurmeet-Debina In The Finale!

Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi have been declared the winner of Nach Baliye 6. After a continuous 30 episodes of dancing Rithvik and Asha managed to get the maximum votes against their toughest competitors Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonorjee.

After a lot of suspense and wait, the name of the winner was declared on the national television 'live'. Rithvik and Asha won the 6th season of Nach Baliye. They were declared the winner on stage when they were supported by their families and co-contestants. Gurmeet-Debina bagged the second place, Vinod and Raksha got the third place while Chef Ripu Daman Handa and Shivangi Verma got the fourth position in the competition.

In conversation, both Rithvik and Asha accepted that Gurmeet and Debina were amazing and it was difficult for them to reach up to that level. "Gurmeet and Debina always gave good performances, they used to surprise us with their acts. So, it was challenging to compete with them, but Rithvik was always there for me and it's because of his support that we were able to reach the finale and win the trophy," Asha said.

The finale was an outstanding event with Shilpa Shetty, Terence Lewis and Sajid Khan too performing on the stage. Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan joined the contestants on stage and shook a leg with them. They were their to promote their movie Shaadi Ke Side Effects.

There was a lot being talked about the Nach Baliye season being jinxed, but at the end of day, the majority feels Rithvik-Asha deserved to win and their popularity certainly helped them win the title.
