Comedy
Nights
With
Kapil
can
finally
relax.
Comedy
Nights...
is
not
going
off
air,
and
this
confirmation
has
come
from
the
creative
director
of
Kapil's
show,
Preeti
Simoes
herself.

Preeti
Simoes,
the
creative
diretor
of
CNWK,
put
all
the
speculation
regarding
the
popular
Colors
show
ending,
to
rest,
clarifying
that
Kapil's
tweet
was
misinterpreted.
Preeti
said
that
Kapil
was
only
talking
about
taking
a
break
from
the
shoot
of
CNWK,
and
not
from
the
show.
Kapil's
tweet
on
Sunday
morning
literally
took
the
nation
by
storm.
His
tweet
read
"Comedy
nights
is
going
off
air
from
september..
V
will
come
back
with
new
characters
n
new
set..
Till
den..
Keep
smiling
:)"
and
ever
since
the
post
went
online,
it
has
spelt
bad
news
for
the
nation,
which
thrives
on
the
dose
of
comedy
from
the
show
every
weekend.

Not
Returning
To
Comedy
Nights
With

As
Gutthi!
Apparently,
even
the
channel
was
surprised
with
Kapil's
tweet.
By
the
time
Kapil
realised
the
implication
of
his
post,
tweets
from
fans
had
already
started
flooding
his
pages
on
Twitter
and
Facebook.
It
was
then
when
Kapil
sought
to
the
same
platform
to
clear
the
air.
"Been
thinking
of
Comedy
nights
new
set,characters
&
a
mini
break
..
will
consult
with
the
channel
n
decide
soon,"
Kapil
posted
the
next
day.
Preeti,
also
touted
to
be
Kapil's
lady
love,
added,
"Actually,
we
have
been
wanting
to
bring
changes
in
the
set
and
get
on
board
new
faces.
We
are
planning
to
shoot
a
bank
of
episodes,
take
a
break
of
15-20
days
to
make
the
changes
and
present
something
new
to
the
audience."
Coming
to
Sunil
Grover's
re-entry,
Preeti
said
that
'nothing
has
been
finalised
yet' and
that
she
and
Kapil
have
been
trying
to
figure
out
what
Sunil
can
play
in
case
he
comes
back.
