It
was
a
proud
moment
for
Indian
TV
when
Rangrasiya,
the
popular
daily
soap
on
Colors,
bagged
an
Abby
Award
for
its
title
track
"Inka
saath
hai
jaise...maati
sang
khumaar" at
the
Goafest
2014.
The
earthy
tentalising
number
won
a
bronze
for
the
Best
Original
TV
song
and
has
been
composed
and
sung
by
Saurabh
Kalsi.
The
lyrics
were
penned
by
Abhishek
Kumar
and
Shashank
Kunwar.
The
magical
song,
I'm
sure,
gives
us
all
goosebumps
everytime
we
listen
to
it.
Being
picturised
on
PaRud
only
makes
it
all
the
more
enticing.
The
song
has
also
been
used
as
a
background
score
on
the
show
during
many
of
the
romantic
scenes
of
leads
Rudra
(Ashish
Sharma)
and
Paro
(Sanaya
Irani)
and
has
lent
a
beautiful
rustic,
earthy
feel
to
the
serial,
Rangrasiya-
just
what
it
needed.
There
are
many
serials
on
TV
shot
in
the
backdrop
of
the
interiors
of
Rajasthan
like
Balika
Vadhu,
Diya
Aur
Baati
Hum,
Yeh
Rishta
Kya
Kehlata
Hai,
and
so
on,
some
of
them
even
with
Rajasthani
title
tracks.
But
this
original
number
is
what
sets
Rangrasiya
apart
from
the
rest
of
them.
The
soulful
Rajasthani
track
has
a
beautiful
blend
of
folk
and
modern
tunes
and
has
won
the
hearts
of
a
million
fans
across
the
globe,
even
before
it
could
come
close
to
winning
the
Abby.
"Title

wins
a
bronze
at
the
prestigious
Abby's
Awards
Goafest
2014," tweeted
a
proud
Saurabh
Kalsi.
Saurabh
has
also
composed
the
music
for
Star
Plus'
Iss
Pyaar
Ko
Kya
Naam
Doon
2.
The
Rangrasiya
team
is
surely
riding
on
a
high,
considering
the
recent
completion
of
100
episodes,
the
winning
of
the
cricket
match
at
the
celebration,
the
rising
TRPs,
and
now,
this
win.
Congratulations
to
the
entire
team,
and
here's
wishing
them
more
success
to
come!
