Saraswatichandra's One Year Success With Gumaan's Endless Taunts To Kumud!

Saraswatichandra of Star Plus finally completes one year of successful airing. The journey did include a lot of ups and downs, but there certainly is something that added more spice to the one year completion. The story would not have had u-turns and several masala moments if Gumaan played by Monica Bedi did not land up giving endless bitter taunts to her daughter-in-law Kumud.

The love saga on Star Plus reaches a stage where it gives one whole year of great storyline and family background which is rare and unseen. The serial is based on the novel 'Saraswatichandra' written by Govardhanram Tripathi which centralises around two love birds and their struggle in life along with their families.

It was recently seen that Saras' mother Gumaan re-enters their lives to create more havoc and make the lives of both the newly married couple troublesome. She landed up taunting Kumud for everything she did and also went up commenting on her character. Kabir, the new entry in the show, was seen flirting with Gumaan and conspiring against the Desai sisters and their husbands.

Now that the show has completed one year there is sure a lot more to come and here is what the actors want to say on this occasion.

Gautam Rode said, "It's been a great journey with the show and I hope it continues to do well. Viewers have given us so much love. Saras as a character has been very special having seen a tremendous growth in this one year."
