Sasural Simar Ka Spoiler: Deepika Samson Aka Simar Does Not Die; Sacrifices For Sister, Roli!

Rumours of Sasural Simar Ka's Simar, Deepika Samson's quitting the show have been doing the rounds for a long while. A recently released promo by Colors, confirmed the news that Deepika will be bidding adieu to the show with the death of Simar.

Sasural Simar Ka will see a major turning point with Simar being pronounced dead. Yes, that's right! The channel has also planned a two-year leap for the show post this big development.

The show, which has been on air for close to 3 years, will now be adopting a storyline with Roli (Avika Gor) managing the entire Bharadwaj household in the place of Simar, and even playing mother to Simar's daughter, Anjali.

The promos of the Sasural Simar Ka post-leap show Roli crying on the ocassion of Anjali's second birthday party! The drama involving Jwala Devi (Amita Khopkar) is also said to end with Simar's death.

Wait, there's another twist within the twist. Apparently, Simar's 'death' would later turn out to be her unselfish sacrifice for sister dearest, Roli. Roli would have accidentally run over a lady with her car, killing her. Roli confesses this to Simar, and when Simar goes to meet the victim's family, they demand her to take their daughter-in-law's place!

Thus, the 'reincarnation' of Simar will be living in a different city, with a new name, family, and of course, in a new avatar! This character will, however, be played by another actor, and many new characters will also be introduced post-leap on Sasural Simar Ka.

So did Deepika Samson leave the show because the character was 'killed', or the other way round? We're not sure. What's left to see is whether the audience will accept this new story track or whether the TRPs will come crashing down.
