Sunil Grover's comedy show on Star Plus, Mad In India has officially come to an end as they wrapped the shooting of their last episode recently. The show ended after 13 episode as they failed to generate sustainable ratings.

Mad In India which was said to be Star Plus's answer to Colors TV's Comedy Nights With Kapil has failed miserably and the stand-up comedy show has come to a premature closure. A leading website quoted a source saying, "The show is ending after completing 13 episodes. It failed to generate sustainable ratings."

The show which was commissioned for 26 episodes was reduced to 13 and the shooting of the last episode was shot on April 18th. What was most disappointing was the ratings the show received during the time it was struggling to stay afloat.

Sunil Grover, who played Gutthi on Kapil Sharma's Comedy Nights, as we know left the show due to some undisclosed financial issues. Though there was no bad mouthing that happened from both the side, there were a lot of rumours circulating about the animosity between Kapil and Sunil.

Lately, there has been a lot of buzz about whether Sunil Grover would return to Kapil's Comedy Nights or not. And now that Sunil show has officially come to an end, the buzz is going to make a lot more noice very soon.

Let's wait and hope Sunil would return to Comedy Nights With Kapil and return to entertaining the viewers in the form of Gutthi.
