Controversies have always been a ‘TRP’ raiser for Television. Reality TV and serials has always managed to grab eye-balls with its controversial cat-fights or exits, like Kushal's exit from Bigg Boss 7, Karan Singh Grover's exit from Qubool Hai, Sunil Grover's exit from Comedy Nights With Kapil or even the recent Drashti Dhami's exit from Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7.

‘Bani-Ishq Da Kalma’, came into controversy as soon as the trailors came up. The protagonist and title of the serial originally ‘Gurbaani’, was opposed strongly by a majority of the Sikh Community which forced the productions to change the title to ‘Bani’ abruptly! Considered the biggest shock in 2013, Sunil Grover, known as ‘Gutthi’ quit the popular show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ at a point where Gutthi’s character was soaring in popularity. Reports suggested creative differences and Sunil’s demand for a pay hike as reasons. COLORS channel further applied for a copyright of Gutthi’s character!

Controversy and ‘Big Boss’ go hand-in-hand! And this season too, didn’t fail at all! Whether it be the Armaan-Sofia spat which led Armaan to face arrest or Ajaz Khan’s controversial remarks on Narendra Modi ,‘Big Boss Season 7’ proved to be the ‘boss’ of all controversies!
