Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt To Promote Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania On Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7 Premiere Night!

Here's more reason for us to wait for June 7. Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will be making a special appearance on the premier night of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7 to promote their upcoming film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. The film, produced by Jhalak Dikhla Jaa judge Karan Johar, is set to hit theatres on 11th July and the the lead pair will be present at the grand premier to ensure that the audience does not miss their movie.

The opening episode of TV's most extravagant celebrity dance reality show could not get any better. Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are to appear on the show to publicise their new film and also launch the songs of the movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. The film will mark the debut of Shashank Khaitan as director and of ex-Jhalak-contestant Siddharth Shukla as an actor in Bollywood.

Alia and Varun will be celebrating their second time appearing on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, the first time being on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6, to promote their maiden movie Student Of The Year.

The film is, as the name suggests, about one Rakesh 'Humpty' Sharma (Varun Dhawan), in search of his dulhania, who turns out to be Kavya Pratap Singh (Alia Bhatt, of course). The film also stars Balika Vadhu's Collector Shivji , Siddharth Shukla, as Angad Bedi. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is Alia and Varun's second movie together.

Let's wish Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania all the best at the box office, and hope this appearance of Alia dear on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7 does not result in further embarassment, after her (in)famous stint on Koffee With Karan.
