After Gauri Pradhan, Girish Aka Kunal Bhatia Quits Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi!

Another actor Kunal Bhatia joins the list of actors who quitted Color's most popular show Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi. Kunal played the role of Girish, who was often seen with Chirag (Ravjeet Singh), planning against Ranveer (Shakti Arora) and Ishaani (Radhika Madan).

Since now the story of MATSH is more focussed on love triangle of Ranveer, Ishaani and Shikar, Kunal's track has gone invisible. According to Telly Buzz, Kunal was even asked to wait for a month or two as his track may open, but since there was no progress, he decided to quit.

Telly Buzz quoted the actor as saying, "The production house asked me to wait for the track to open after a month or two. But then they were uncertain as to when and primarily how will my character progress. I do not see any point of my character being a mere prop to bring in major changes on the show. I hence decided to quit."

Recently, Gauri Pradhan who played the role of Falguni had quit the show and there are rumours that even her husband Hiten Tejwani, who plays the role of Nitin may quit the show.

Gauri had quit the show stating there was no scope for her role in the show, while Hiten thinks the same as his role was linked to Gauri's role.

Looks like the show is more focussed on four main characters - Ishaani, Ranveer, Shikar (Arjun Bijlani) and Ritika (Smriti Khanna) and the rest who are thinking they are not given importance in the show are either planning to quit or has just left the show.
