Akshara-Naitik’s New Avatar In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Post Leap

The longest running show of Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) recently completed 1700 episodes. The main lead of the show, Naitik aka Karan Mehra posted few of his and his on screen family's pictures on Twitter. The pictures show the new look of the cast.

The family entertainer YRKKH is all set to take 10-year leap, where Akshara (Hina Khan) will shed her sari clad avatar and will be donning Indo-western clothes. Akshara and Naitik will be having 12-year-old daughter and 20-year-old son post the leap. The shooting will be taking place in Cape Town.

It has already been reported about Naksh and Naira's characters. Rohan Mehra, who was previously seen in Sakshi Tanwar's Bade Acche Lagte Hain, will be replacing Shivansh Kotia. Naksh will be shown as handsome and naughty character. To match this character, show makers had auditioned over 200 boys and finalised Rohan.

Cute little baby will be replaced by Ashnoor Kaur, who was seen in shows like Jhansi Ki Rani, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha and Bade Acche Lagte Hain.

Karan Mehra was seen having good time with his on screen children Rohan and Ashnoor. He posted few of his pictures along with Hina, Ashnoor and Rohan. Elated Karan took to Twitter and expressed his happiness of his show completing 1700 episodes. He tweeted, "1700 episodes and still counting 😊 Thanku all for your LOVE & SUPPORT 😘".

In the upcoming episode, we will see a major twist where Daddaji will die and Akshara will be thrown out of the house.
