Ankita Lokhande In Vikas Gupta’s Period Drama Rani Mahal!

Vikas Gupta's Period Drama Rani Mahal is in buzz for a long time. The show was compared to an Indian adaptation of Game of Thrones. Sakshi Tanwar, Anita Hassanandani and VJ Bani were reportedly approached for the show and have been finalised too. Now another name that is doing the rounds is Ankita Lokhande.

Apparently, the talks with Pavitra Rishta actress Ankita are going on and there are all possibilities of the actress being on board for the show. Ankita's role in Rani Mahal is said to be a powerful one.

The project is set for the second half of this year 2015 and will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

Ankita was previously in news for being roped in for Ekta Kapoor's next Yeh Mera Pyaar, where she would be shown in completely new look. But soon the rumours were dismissed as it was said that the Ankita was not at all approached for the role and the script of the show is in nascent stage.

Well, we have to wait and see if this news of Ankita is just a rumour like the previous one or not. Let's wait for official confirmation by Ankita herself!

Recently, Ankit was in news for her marriage with her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. Ankita's beau Sushant Singh Rajput, who was seen in PK success bash, reportedly had said that their wedding might take place in November next year.

Both Sushant and Ankita met on the sets of Pavitra Rishta and eventually fell in love. They are also considered one of the popular couple on television by audiences.
