The Diya Aur Baati Hum actor who emerged victorious from the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 8, recently was seen interacting with his fans on Google Hangout along with missmalini.com. During the live interaction with his fans and answering a number of candid questions, Gautam revealed that if he had not chosen to become an actor, he would have been a flight attendant.

Gautam, who acted in a supporting role in Star Plus's popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum, had acted in a number of small budget films including a short film, Darpok, which also was screened in the Cannes Film Festival. Gautam contested in Bigg Boss 8 quitting his TV show and the rest was history.

Gautam has currently shooting for his Bollywood film, Udanchhoo and is also said to have signed a three-film deal with a big banner. Gautam and his fans must be very happy he chose acting over attending flights now!
