Puneet Issar To Be Kabbadi Coach In Diya Aur Baati Hum!

Puneet Issar, veteran actor last seen in Bigg Boss 8, will soon be playing a Kabbadi coach in Star Plus's most popular show, Diya Aur Baati Hum.

Diya Aur Baati Hum, starring Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh, has the lead character, Sooraj trying to win a Kabbadi match to win the price money to build his dream hotel. When Sooraj starts his practice for the big game, Puneet will be making his entry into the show.

"The channel had approached Jimmy Sheirgill, but he looked too young for the role. Mukesh Rishi and Puneet Issar were in contention for it too, and it seems that Puneet has bagged the role,' TOI quoted a source close to the show.

Puneet, who was last seen on the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 8, was one of the most talked about contestant and his relationship with his co-contestant and the winner of the season - Gautam Gulati, was one of the strongest bonds on the show.

"Talks are on for both the shows. For Diya Aur Baati Hum, my managers are looking at the dates, but things are yet to be finalized. I have been approached for Jhalak, but nothing has been confirmed yet," the actor told the leading website recently.

Puneet is reported to have been approached for the upcoming season of Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa.
