Bigg Boss 8 Winner Gautam Gulati Opted Ekta Kapoor Over Debut Film!

Bigg Boss 8 winner and a heartthrob of millions, Gautam Gulati, has opted out of his debut film Udanchhoo for Ekta Kapoor's next project.
The Diya Aur Baati Hum actor recently announced his film, Udanchhoo, where he was going to play a conman in. He has opted out of it as the dates clashed with Ekta's next film, with him in lead role which was scheduled to go on floors in June.

"Ekta ma'am will always be my first priority because she gave me my break on television," Gautam was reported saying by Mumbai Mirror. I've been speaking to Ekta ma'am regularly. The date clash just happened. It might have got sticky if we'd started shooting but right now it doesn't affect anyone much," he also added.

Though Gautam has acted in a number of small films, including Darpok, which also was filmed at The Cannes Film Festival, his film with Ekta will be his debut film in a lead role.

Gautam's stint in Bigg Boss 8, which ended with him winning the show, turned the tables for the hot actor. The popularity he gained from the show has landed him a number of films, including a three-film deal with a big banner.
