Bigg Boss 9 is around the corner and the curiosity to know the contestants who might be locked inside the controversial house this season has already started to make a buzz. Salman Khan, who has hosted the popular Colors show for the past five seasons might not be hosting the show this season.

The controversial reality show will soon have its 9th season hitting the small screens after the dance reality show - Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 ends. Hosted either by Salman or Farah Khan (most probably), the show will take the usual 9 PM slot on Colors to entertain the viewers for the three months the show will stay on air.

Names like Radhe Maa, Mohit Malhotra, Rahul Yadav, Shweta Basu, Sana Saeed, VJ Bani, Asha Negi, Rashmi Desai, Amisha Patel, Poonam Pandey, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and many others are making rounds. While some of them have revealed about the channel having approached them, other have chosen to remain silent.

Also, with no confirmation on Salman Khan hosting the show the forthcoming season, the fans of the show and the Bollywood actor are contemplating whether they want to watch the show if Salman opts out of Bigg Boss 9 or not.

Bigg Boss Season 9 will be hitting the small screens soon after Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 ends. The controversial reality show might or might not be hosted by Salman Khan, but here are some of the controversial celebrities who might contest this season.

Shiney Ahuja

Post his embarrassing controversy, Shiney has been out of the picture. He will be seen in the forthcoming John Abraham and Anil Kapoor film - Welcome Back.

Shweta Basu

The sex scandal had put Shweta Basu under limelight not so long ago. Contesting on the show might give her a much needed boost.

Rahul Yadav

There is a lot of talk about the ex-CEO of Housing.com to have been approached to contest in the show and he has reportedly also accepted the offer.

Sana Saeed

Sana Saeed was recently seen contesting in Nach Baliye. The actress entered the show as a wildcard entry and got eliminated despite her good dancing.

VJ Bani

VJ Bani's name has been coming up before every season and each time the final list has never had her name in it. Reportedly she has been approached for this season.
