Diya Aur Baati Hum: Meenakshi To Reveal The Truth To Lalima?

Bhabho becomes worried about Sooraj’s marriage after Lalima is hurt by his behavior. Meenakshi and Vikram come to collect the cheque of Sandhya’s pension. The officer tells them that there are some formalities. They have to make a statement that if Sooraj remarries, his pension will stop. Vikram tells Meena that he does not have the courage to stop Sooraj’s marriage.

Bhabho asks Mohit and comes to know that neither Lalima nor her brother called him back. Mohit suggests that Bhabho should meet Lalima and talk with her. Bhabho says she will go to their house with a tray of gifts.

Meenakshi comes to know about the tension over the marriage. She decides that she will make Lalima even more confused so that the marriage can never happen. She comes to Emily and tells her that they are doing injustice with Lalima, who lost her parents at an early age.

Emily thinks Meenakshi is right. Meena tells her to write a letter describing the true facts about Sooraj, without signing her name. Emily does the same. Meenakshi hides the letter in the tray of gifts.

Bhabho goes to Lalima’s house and says she has carried haldi for her, to complete the pre-wedding rituals. Lalima stops her and says she thinks Sooraj is not ready for the marriage. Bhabho says Sooraj will accept it with time; but Lalima is not convinced.

During the journey to the theater destination, Sandhya watches Shekhar and thinks he is an innocent man. The truck carrying the opera team is stopped as Zakir asks for a lift after his car is damaged in the road. Zakir sits in the front part of the truck. Sandhya is shocked.
