Diya Aur Baati Hum: Lalima Helps Sooraj to Find Out Sandhya

Diya Aur Baati Hum's August 22nd episode: Lalima comes to the temple and expresses her grief over her marriage with Sooraj and Bhabho’s cheating. She sees Sooraj coming towards the temple and hides behind a pillar. Sooraj comes and complains against Bhabho’s cheating. Lalima understands that Sooraj has been cheated too.

Sooraj tells the God that he will not return home until he finds Sandhya. His determination touches Lalima. She feels bad to see his condition and comes forward. She tells him that Sandhya is alive. Sooraj becomes so happy that he hugs Lalima tight.

Lalima insists on taking Sooraj back home, but he says he will not go until he finds Sandhya. He also says that he is angry with Bhabho. Lalima suggests that they can start searching for Sandhya with the photograph he has taken with him.

Sooraj gladly agrees with Lalima and starts going downward through a staircase adjacent with the temple. Lalima follows him. Sandhya’s picture flies from Sooraj’s hand and falls into a well.

Sooraj becomes desperate to rescue the picture. Lalima stops him and says she will rescue the picture. She picks up the bucket attached with the well and takes the rope; she binds it around her waist and starts stepping down the well. Sooraj holds the rope tightly. The Rathi family keeps searching for Sooraj.

Sandhya finds the chip stolen by Shekhar and thinks now she will find Chandu. She tells the opera men that the police are checking cars for the chip. Shekhar becomes tensed and calls the commander. He decides to wait at the dhaba for two-three hours. Sandhya remains alert.
