Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sandhya To Become A Part Of The Garjana?

Diya Aur Baati Hum's August 31st episode: Meenakshi plans that she will do something so that Sooraj hates Lalima. She takes a picture of the engagement to show Sooraj that Llalima was the girl with whom he was to get married. She heads towards Sooraj’s room.

Lalima catches Meena red-handed and shows Bhabho that Meena is trying to give Sooraj a mental shock, which can be fatal for him. Meena wants to expel Lalima; Ved requests her not to do so, because his father will be upset.

Sandhya intentionally irritates Manjari, who starts hurling abuses. Sandhya says she will not tolerate her father’s insult. She tells Manjari that her father was a government employee and she can get his pension. She takes Manjari to the pension office in the city and informs Bharat Sir before coming there.

In the pension office Sandhya sees Bharat Sir sitting on the chair of a Government officer. He wears the countenance of a rude and complacent Government officer. She tells him that she has come to collect the pension of her dead father Shantanu Das.

Boss tells Sandhya to give him a ‘written application’. Sandhya writes all the latest updates of the Garjana and mentions the pathetic death of Officer Singh. She says that now she needs to become a part of the terrorist group.

Boss reads the letter and retorts that Shantanu Das was a terrorist who had connections with the Garjana. Sandhya strongly objects. Boss smears black ink on Sandhya’s face and expels her. He hopes that this drama will help Sandhya to earn the trust of the Garjana men.

Sandhya comes back to the village with Manjari. Shekhar sees her face smeared with ink. Manjari tells him the incident of the pension office. Sandhya goes to the jungle and makes gallows to create a scene of suicidal attempt.
