Diya Aur Baati Hum: Bhabho Praises Sandhya; Gives Meenakshi Her Prize!

In Diya Aur Baati Hum, Bhabho was upset that Sandhya broke the tradition of wearing sari. Sandhya would not wear the sari given by Bhabho and comes to puja in salwar kameez. When Bhabho asks her to change, Sandhya asks permission of wearing salwar kameez at home instead of sari.

Bhabho is upset with Sandhya's attitude and Babasa tries to correct Bhabho. Seems like Bhabho is in no mood to listen to anyone, she dominates as usual and makes Babasa quiet. Meenakshi is happy that Bhabho is upset with Sandhya and her concentration would divert to Sandhya rather from her. But Meenakashi gets her shock when Bhabho accepts Sandhya's request.

Bhabho and Babasa meet Sandhya and indirectly she praises her. Meenakshi overhears this and says Bhabho is right and traditions should be followed. But Bhabho turns her words and starts praising Sandhya, saying she made Bhabho approve Emily and Vikram's relationship, who are happy now. She adds that Sandhya has even given good reputation to Rathi family by becoming IPS officer. Bhabho also gives Sandhya permission to wear salwar kameez.

This irks Meenakshi and she starts asking for her prize as she too has done a lot to the family. Bhabho calls Emily and Meenakshi together.

As revealed earlier, Meenakshi and Emily get the shock of their life. Bhabho divides the house for both and asks them to stay separately. Meenakshi finds the vessels empty, Bhabho asks them to fill and manage themselves.

Though Meena-Vikram, Emily-Mohit beg not to do this, Bhabho doesn't listen. She says this is the prize for what they had done (taking thumb impression, when she was asleep and unwell in hospital). Bhabho even asks to pay the rent of Rs 5000.
