Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sandhya’s Death Is A Drama Before The Family!

Diya Aur Baati Hum's July 17th episode: While the family mourns Sandhya’s death, Bhabho asks Zakir why he has failed to protect his friend, while he promised to do so! Zakir looks helpless. Sandhya’s funeral rites are performed in the presence of the family.

Zakir cannot accept the matter even after the funeral is over. He asks the Boss, how Sandhya could fail to escape while ‘Mission Mahabali’ was so perfectly planned! The Chief says it was a misfortune; he gives an explanation of Sandhya’s death.

The Chief explains that Sandhya’s right foot got stuck in the door while she was trying to escape from the compartment of the Sushmita Express. He shows a piece of burnt jewelry which has been found at the door of the the train. He also shows the post-mortem report which shows a deep injury in the right foot of Sandhya’s body. Zakir thoroughly goes through the post-mortem report.

The Chief comes to a deserted place and enters a hut. Sandhya pours buckets of water upon her head. The Chief stops her. Sandhya says she cannot forgive herself for cheating her own family. She feels guilty.

Sandhya says that she has failed as a mother and a wife, while being loyal to her duty. The Chief opines that a soldier’s family is not limited within a few people, but the people of the whole nation belongs to his/her family and it is his/her responsibility to protect them.

The Boss motivates Sandhya to forget her personal grief and concentrate upon the mission, as the actual mission is to begin now. She has to pose as Sagarika Das, to finish the Garjana organisation.
