Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sandhya To Be Caught By The Terrorists?

Diya Aur Baati Hum's July 28th episode: Sandhya (Deepika Singh) holds her courage and patience while bearing the torture of the terrorists. She distracts the Garjana men with a password that gives them the access of a huge fund. They cheer up with the good news. Shekhar says that they should release ‘Sagarika’.

Sandhya is released and taken back to the village by a man, with her eyes blindfolded. Shekhar tells the commander that ‘Sagarika’ is not a common girl. The way she handled the torture, shows that she is very strong and courageous.

Shekhar also remembers that Himanshu had an exceptionally good memory and he used to keep everything in his brain. So, why he should write a password on the back of a watch, which can be noticed by anyone, wonders Shekhar.

Shekhar decides to keep close watch on Sandhya. Sandhya sees a little boy crying and comforts him like a mother. She remembers Ved. She sees the village telephone booth and thinks she can once ring at the Rathi house and hear Ved’s voice. Shekhar follows her.

Sooraj becomes ill after he sees the bunch of clothes catching fire. He lies senseless; Ved nurses him with a great care. Bhabho becomes sad. She remembers how Sooraj became traumatized after the completion of Sandhya’s funeral rites. He developed a fire phobia.

According to the doctor Sooraj is mentally denying the fact that his wife has died, and he is afraid of fire as he heard that Sandhya was burnt to death! He must be kept away from fire; otherwise his trauma can lead to a state of coma.

The doctor gave an emergency injection for Sooraj, only to be used in rare occasions. As Sooraj cannot go in front of fire, his hotel dream is finished. Bhabho regrets that Sandhya’s patriotism has ended Sooraj’s life!

Bhabho crosses Vikram and Meenakshi to know why Sooraj came down stairs and whether anybody came into the house. Meenakshi cheats Bhabho again and hides the matter of pension.
