Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sandhya To Play The Role Of A Bengali Woman

Diya Aur Baati Hum's June 26th episode: Sandhya thinks she will spend some golden moments with her family and fulfill all her duties, before going to the mission. She calls the Engineer for the hotel construction, as she cannot wait to start the ‘Vedansh’ project. She tells the Engineer that she wants the design within ten days. The Engineer says that he needs at least twenty days to make the plan.

The family members become surprised and ask why Sandhya is hurrying so much! Sandhya says that she wants the design within ten days at any cost! She gets a call from her senior officer and leaves the house. She comes to a house and hears a Bengali number.

The officer tells Sandhya that she has to learn the Bengali language and Bengali music to take part in the mission. He gives her some relevant books and CDs. He explains that she has to play the role of Sagarika Das, a Bengali girl who has settled in Rajasthan! Sagarika has a deep connection with the Bengali culture.

The officer also says that the fight is against a terrorist organization, which is planning to harm the security of the nation. The mastermind behind this organization is Himanshu Dube. Sandhya has to trap this person. Sandhya asks why the police is not arresting the person. The officer explains that there is no concrete proof against Himanshu.

Babasa sees a news story about some criminal. Bhabho says that Sandhya cannot risk her life for her job, because she has her family duties! Sandhya tells her senior that her life is dedicated for the country.
