Diya Aur Baati Hum: Zakir Refuses To Marry Chavi!

Diya Aur Baati Hum's June 27th episode: Sandhya learns the Bengali language and music at home, under the guidance of a professional teacher. Zakir tells her that she has to forget her original identity to succeed in the mission. He adds that the officers who have joined this mission before, have not been able to come back; but Sandhya will definitely come back, believes Zakir.

Bhabho thinks she will call the priest soon and find a date for Chavi’s engagement with Zakir. Meenakshi taunts Chavi talking about her second marriage and second husband. Bhabho scolds her. Chavi tells Emily that she will always pray for her, so that Emily gets a perfect life partner who would love her a lot and care for her.

The family members make fun with the topic of second marriage. Ved says that he wants to dance in his father’s marriage. Sandhya becomes extremely emotional and unnaturally possessive about Sooraj. Sooraj is surprised, but he cannot guess the reason.

Sandhya notices that Zakir is often talking about Emily. She keeps thinking about it. Zakir comes to a Darga to know his mind. The Rathi family sits with the priest to select the date of engagement. Zakir calls Sandhya and says that he has to tell her something really important.

Sandhya eagerly waits for Zakir. He meets her privately and says that he cannot marry Chavi, as he has never been in love with her. He agreed to marry her only to keep the words of Bhabho and Sandhya. But now he feels that a marriage without love would be a disaster. He also confesses that he loves Emily!
