Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sooraj Leaves Home For Kabaddi Tournament

Diya Aur Baati Hum May 14th episode: Ankur tells Ved that Sandhya and he had some quarrels and did not keep in touch for a long time. Now they are reconciled again. Vansh says that he will be a part of the big family. Bhabho tells him that he is Vansh’s brother. The word ‘brother’ startles everyone. Meenakshi explains that Bhabho means ‘cousin’.

Ankur, Bulbul and Vansh spend some happy moments with the Rathi family, having delicious dishes from Bhabho’s kitchen. Sandhya takes Sooraj for Kabaddi practice. Sooraj keeps working hard for hours and the family keeps praying for him.

The tournament comes near and Sooraj gets ready to participate in it. Ved tells everyone that he will miss his father a lot, but he has to take care of the family in the absence of Sooraj.

The family members give their heartiest wishes to Sooraj and bid him farewell with smiling faces. Aryan gives his laptop to Sooraj, so that he can watch videos of Kabaddi games and talk with Sandhya through internet. Mohit does not bother to wish Sooraj, but Sooraj hugs him before leaving.

Sooraj tells Sandhya that he will feel bad to spend fifteen days with unknown persons in the Kabaddi camp. She says that his dream will give him power. The neighbor-aunt gossips that Sooraj is going to ruin his future by seeing absurd dreams. Bhabho ignores her criticism.

When Sooraj rides the rickshaw, the man who has bought his sweet shop, comes and gives him sweets. The man says that he will distribute sweets in the neighborhood after Sooraj’s victory in the game.
