Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sandhya Rubbishes Criticisms, Suraj Upset

Diya Aur Baati Hum May 6th episode: Suraj shares the plan of his hotel with the family members. He shows a big plot which presently has no attraction for the public, but his hotel will become the center of attraction, hopes Suraj. He also says that he will make a big kitchen, as the kitchen is the powerhouse of any hotel.

Suraj declares that Mohit is going to be the manager of the hotel; Mohit thinks that Suraj is daydreaming while he is far away from fulfilling his dream. Suraj also declares that he is going to name the hotel after Ved and Vansh.

The children insist on having ice-cream. Suraj sees that his purse is empty; Sandhya gives money for the ice-cream. Ved says that it would be bad to create pressure on his father while his pocket is empty. Sandhya tells him that his father’s pocket is filled with dreams. And nothing bad is there if a mother buys ice-cream for her children.

Suraj’s aunt comes to talk with Bhabho. She says that Suraj has committed the biggest blunder by selling his well-established business. The children cheerfully come back with ice-cream. Aunt says it is bad to spend money on ice-cream while there is no fixed income. Ved says that the ice-cream is bought by his mother.

Bhabho sends the children inside. The elders come to have the ice-cream. Aunt says that Suraj should be ashamed to have the ice-cream which is bought by his wife. During the rituals of marriage, a man promises to take all the responsibilities of his wife and Suraj is doing just the reverse, says Aunt.

Sandhya slams Aunt for her old-fashioned thoughts. She argues that a wife also promises to share the problems of her husband and she is just doing that! Aunt leaves the house, but Suraj feels upset. Vikram says that it is not easy for a man to use his wife’s money.
