Diya Aur Baati Hum: Meet Sooraj's To-Be-Wife Lalima; Sandhya Tortured By Her New Mother-In-Law

In Diya Aur Baati Hum, Bhabho is worried about Sooraj's (Anas Rashid) health as it gets worsened. He is shocked after doing final rites of his wife Sandhya (Deepika Singh). He gets provoked when he sees fire and acts voilent as he thinks the fire took Sandhya's life.

Bhabho is angry on Sandhya as she sacrificed her life for the country and didn't even think of her husband and son. Sooraj will be looked after by Bhabho and Ved being beside him almost always. Meanwhile, Sooraj visits temple where he sees a girl just like Sandhya and starts following her.

Bhabho tries to stop him, but in vain. Later, Sooraj is disappointed to see some other girl in place of Sandhya. Yes, meet Sooraj's to-be wife Lalima aka Shefali Sharma. Lalima would later get friendly to Sooraj-Sandhya's son Ved.

Lalima will also get sweets for Ved, that will bring smile on Sooraj's face. Seeing Sooraj smile after so long, Bhabho and Bhabasa decide to take some important decision in Sooraj's life.

On the other hand, Sandhya aka Sagarika will be tortured for information by Garjana people. Realising that she wouldn't reveal anything at all, Chandu decides to release her.

In the village, Sagarika will claim to be the daughter-in-law of Manjari, who is Himanshoo's (Amit Dolawat) mother. Since Manjari is in pain of losing her only son Himanshoo, she tortures Sagarika and asks her to do all household work!
