Diya Aur Baati Hum: Will Sandhya Be Successful In Proving Ved, His Father Sooraj's Worth?

In Diya Aur Baati Hum, Sandhya (Deepika Singh) is worried about her son Ved and Sooraj's (Anas Rashid) relationship. Ved is embarrassed with his father's occupation - a Halwai, and Sandhya is upset that if Sooraj gets to know this, it may affect the father-son relationship!

Ved has been telling lies at his school to his friends and teachers ever since he was made fun of his Halwai look in fancy dress competition. He had told his friends that his father is a big entrepreneur. Ved's teacher invites him for a lecture in the school, through an invitation letter, which Ved throws off.

Sandhya hears his conversation with Mishri and gets the paper too. She plans to surprise Ved by taking his father to the school. She also prepares Sooraj for a lecture who was apprehensive in the beginning, but later agrees for his son. Sooraj impresses the students with his lecture, but Ved escapes from the classroom thinking he will again be insulted because of his uneducated father.

Though Sandhya was successful, she is upset as Ved wasn't there to witness the event. Sandhya speaks to Ved regarding the same who asks her, "If from 14-years-old my father is halwai, why didn't he progress till now. Why is he in the same position, was he a failure?" Sandhya gets angry with Ved's questions and tries to slap him, but Sooraj stops.

Sandhya is scared that Ved's words may hurt Sooraj and therefore tries to change Ved's thinking. She even plans to change Ved's school, but he stops her.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Ved telling his friends about his upcoming birthday that will be celebrated grandly with a huge beautiful cake, while Sooraj has some other plans with his halwa! What will Sandhya do now? Will she be successful in proving his father's worth?
