Drashti Dhami's wedding celebrations kick started yesterday, 19th February with a grand Mehandi ceremony. The popular TV actress will be getting hitched to her fiancée Neeraj Khemka in a low-key wedding among close family and friends in Mumbai.

"It will be a big event with as many as 70 friends and family members performing at the function. Rehearsals for the same have been on for a few weeks. The couple's good friends, including TV actors Sanaya Irani, Mouni Roy and Nakuul Mehta, will dance at the function and even host it," Hindustan Times reported an insider source.

The Mehandi ceremony took place on Thursday and is said to be followed by Sangeeth on Friday. The actually wedding will take place on 21st February followed by a grand reception in a 5-star hotel. Drashti, who wanted her wedding to be a personal affair, has managed to keep the venue a top secret from the media.

Sangeeth ceremony is reported to have many performances from the guest including Nakuul Mehta, who is also the host of the wedding, and Sanaya Irani and many others. Drashti too is reported to be performing on stage with Neeraj. "Drashti will not only join Sanaya on stage for an act, but will also dance to a romantic number with her fiancé," reports say.
