Ishq Ka Rang Safed: Dhaani-Biplab’s Impossible Love Story!

The quote ‘Love has no boundaries' holds good for Color's new show, Ishq Ka Rang Safed, which is all about Bilap and his impossible love for Dhaani.

Eisha Singh plays the role of Dhaani, who is loyal and easy going girl and rarely speaks her heart out. She is a young widow living by the rules set by society in the city of Benaras.

While Mishal Raheja, who plays the role of Bilap is totally opposite to Dhaani. Bilap is youngest grandson of Dashrath Pandey played by Arun Bakshi. Bilap is bold and a spoilt brat, who doesn't hesitate to speak his mind out.

Dashrath Pandey is very traditional and orthodox. As shown in the promo, he is against Dhaani and Bilap's relationship and doesn't accept anything from any widow to start auspicious work.

The story goes something like this - For his law studies, Biplab is all set to go abroad and thinks of not returning back to Benares and his family, but things take a U-turn in his life when he sees Dhaani.

With the promos, we predict that Bilap falls in love with Dhaani, who repeatedly rejects him as she is widow. Dhaani feels that being widow, she doesn't have any rights to think of any happiness in her life. One of Dhaani's friend gives her indirect indication of accepting Bilap, who has come in Dhaani's life to give her happiness. On the other hand, Bilap, who wants to marry Dhaani, is stopped by his grandfather Dashrath.

Even in the 21st century, widow remarriage is still a big taboo in many parts of India. Let's see how much this show will impact those who are against widow remarriage!
